Pattern details… you will need 1 to 1 1/2 yards of knit fabric for this t-shirt. The small takes 1 yard of 60″ wide fabric. You can use ribbing for the neck or just more of the shirt fabric… it’s up to you.

Now unfold the neckband and sew the 2 short edges together with a 3/8″ seam allowance. Finish sewing the last couple inches of the neckband to your t-shirt, stretching the neckband while you stitch just like before. Press the t-shirt neckline seam towards the body of the t-shirt. The videos are each 8-9 minutes long because I wanted to be very thorough and make sure to show and explain each step. Open up the shirt and pin the neckband in, stretching it from shoulder to shoulder. Be careful not to stretch the t-shirt, just the neckband.

Notice how the front neckline is lower than the back neckline. Because I’m using Interlock, I recommend marking the inside of the fabric with a fabric marking pen of some sort. Pin them together and sew in place (with a straight stitch). Trim any excess, then fold the neckline in half again (along the line that you pressed earlier). Then simply sew this to the T-Shirt, in the same way that you sewed the rest of the neckline (make sure you use a zig-zag stitch!). Cut the pattern pieces out.
